Marisela & David’s Romantic Estancia La Jolla Wedding is gorgeous, there is just no other way to put it! Scroll through all the images for a look into their timeless style featuring the most unbelievable florals, satin button-down gown and a fig-topped and gold trimmed wedding cake from Sweet Lydia’s. Yum!

Marisela said her inspiration for the day, “was based on our own story of a long distance relationship.” It included subtle influences from vintage 1930’s and 40’s style, Spanish, Moroccan and Old World tones.”

She revealed, “I got the moroccan inspiration while dining in a moroccan inspired restaurant in Dubai. The Spanish influence I got from my background. I wanted the wedding to have a vintage feel so I added furniture that would compliment the look and the era, I added accessories like moroccan lanterns and dark wood furniture, I brought in the Spanish touch with my lace dress and flowers to accent my hair, 1930’s- ’40’s love letters gave a romantic, vintage feel and tied in the long distance love theme.”

In our search for our wedding photographer, my husband and I met with close to fifteen photographers. Jen and Shane were our first on the list and even though we met with fourteen other photographers that were really talented, they never left the #1 position. Jen and Shane are a sweet, bubbly, enthusiastic couple, and we felt at ease talking about how we met, our wedding plans, and what we were looking for. After meeting the rest of the photographers we knew there was no match to these two. Although their photography speaks for itself is not until you meet with them in person that you know you have the whole package. They are creative, professional, organized, straight forward, personable, and patient. It was very easy to get in contact with them to plan our sessions before and after the wedding. They were always available to talk. On our wedding day we were taken back by how cute and sweet of a couple they are and how well they work together. We were inspired on our wedding day by this couple’s interaction with each other. They made our day even more romantic. Our wedding and engagement pictures were what we expected and more. We had AMAZING shots! Our wedding pictures are so beautiful! We knew the kind of photography that we wanted, and they delivered to perfection. Great photographers, great people… Amazing pictures!!
